Nationally recognized cinematographer Brian Peterson, has been documenting weddings on video since 1994.
His philosophy is that wedding film producers are historians documenting a very significant event in a couple's lives. Equally it is an artistic outlet where his goal is to create dynamic and compelling images and sound that celebrate and share the emotions of the day. "For me the most touching moments are the little moments that happen in between the major events of the day. The spontaneous kiss from the groom, the tears of the mother, the flower girl twirling, the father seeing his daughter, in her gown, for the first time on the wedding day. The little moments that I search out with my camera."
Believing there is always something to learn and a technique to improve, Brian is a member of WEVA (Wedding and Event Videographer Association International) regularly attending their seminars and Expo to further refine his skills and techniques. With video production as his passion he has also been a speaker, honored to be a Creative Excellence Awards Judge in 2006, and has had articles published about the industry. |
